The Budget babe is a consultancy company. Its initiative was established in June 2021 with as goal to create a platform where individuals are encouraged, supported and advised to budget and make their money work for them. In doing so, changing their mindset and future on their personal financial journey to debt freedom.
About me as “The Budget Babe”
My name is Mickaella Carty, a Registered Nurse by profession and budgeting coach inspired by “Dave Ramsey methods”. I am a zero-based budgeter, obsessed with finances. I started my personal financial journey four (4) years ago and have made a tremendous amount of progress. I have mastered the skill of budgeting while on my own journey and have seen the amount of freedom that you gain from just being disciplined. I have been driven to teach like-minded persons who are also interested in achieving debt freedom, the methods that I have used while on this journey.
In order to be successful at this, I had to be disciplined, consistent and accountable for my own financial decisions. Continuously being reminded that there is no time to be complacent. My future depended on it.
Assisting persons along their journey and actually seeing them make a turnaround in their finances is what makes what I do so unique.

We offer workshops catering to individual needs or groups. These workshops may vary depending on the personalized package from 1 hour to 2.
